HDLN is a corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, civil rights
purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 as
now enacted or as may be hereinafter amended; no part of its net earnings shall inure to the
benefit of any private shareholder or individual nor shall any substantial part of its activities
consist of carrying on propaganda or otherwise attempting to influence legislation; nor will it
participate in or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements) any
political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. In pursuance of its aforesaid
stated purposes, the Corporation will, among other things:
(a) conduct research and encourage and sponsor research of past and existing public
policy regarding the provision of public services, of the effects and results of those
policies, of free market or private sector alternatives for the providing of public services,
and of the effectiveness of such;
(b) publish and disseminate its own and others’ research findings on such issues;
(c) inform and educate the general public and state, local, and federal government officials about possible alternatives for providing public services;
(d) conduct, encourage and promote the discussion of issues regarding the providing of
public services in public forums, through public discussion groups, seminars, panels,
conferences, reports, lectures, newsletters, news releases, news media, and other similar means; and
(e) make its charitable and educational programs available to all elected officials, civic
and business leaders, and to the general public without regard to their views or
affiliations with any political party or any other organization;
(f) advocate for Judeo-Christian values and beliefs through publicly available publications, documents, and multimedia, such as video content;
(g) maintain a website and social media accounts that promote the mission of the organization, including at least one account with an online video platform where the organization’s video content can be shared widely;
